FIRST Robotics Competition
The FIRST Robotics Competition is a high school robotics competition organized by FIRST. Teams of mentors (corporate employees, teachers, or college students) and high school students collaborate together to design and build a robot in six weeks using the standard set of parts. The game details changes every year.

Projects
Af Robot
FIRST, 2008
Rookie year mentoring Lamar High School (FRC#2587). Robot picks up 40" track balls and hurdles them over a 6.5" overpass. Won Website award and Judges Award at Lone Star Regional.
Tinman
FIRST, 2007
RAS 1st year mentoring Anderson High School (FRC#2158). Robot picks up pool tubes and puts it on a rack. Won Rookie All-Star at Lone Star Regional and attended championship.
Chainzilla
FIRST, 2005
NASA mentoring Clear Creek High School (FRC #118). Robot picks up tetras and puts it on a rack. Team won two regionals and honorable mention chairmans at nationals.
Cryptonite Bin-Stacker
FIRST, 2003
Cryptonite (FRC #624) Cinco Ranch High School. Robot picks up plastic bins and stacks them onto another bin. Team won Delphi Driving Tomorrow's Technology award at Phoenix and Lone Star regionals, the team also attended Championship at Houston.
Cryptonite - 5 Wheelie
FIRST, 2002
Cryptonite (FRC #624) Cinco Ranch High School. Robot attaches to roller goals and drives with 5 wheels. Team won Imagery award at the Lone Star regional, the team also attended Championship at Disney World.
